Eiji doesn't even have a clue, or a sense of tremendous amount of hellish pain , all mentally and physically that Ash went through.

My boy here thinks Ash is gifted and in reality he couldn't be any more misfortunate than this. My guy was molested, raped, had noone besides his side to protect him when he was most vulnerable, couldn't protect Skip, had to shot his best friend dead ( not to mention because of Eiji, yeah I firmly believe that and nothing can change my mind), had his brother killed and this boy who never probably had to worry about anything till this date is nagging him about what he should do and shouldn't do.

We can see things are not simple as Eiji thinks !! Probably because he lives in a safe country with almost no violence. The same goes for us. I feel really safe in my country when I see Ash living in hell.
